Insights Editorial Policy
This page explains how Whempify selects, drafts, reviews, updates, and corrects public contractor marketing content.
How Whempify Insights Works
Our goal is useful, original analysis for home-service contractors, not generic content volume.
Topic Selection
Topics are selected based on practical value to home-service contractors and their connection to local marketing decisions.
- Relevance to contractors, advertising, demand timing, and local market selection.
- Search usefulness and ability to answer real contractor questions.
- Source quality, originality, and risk of becoming quickly outdated.
Preferred Sources
When articles discuss outside developments, Whempify prefers primary or reputable sources.
- Official Google, Meta, NOAA, National Weather Service, Census Bureau, and Bureau of Labor Statistics sources.
- Recognized trade publications, established marketing publications, and reliable business sources.
- Low-quality affiliate blogs, anonymous claims, and competitor promotional material are avoided.
AI Assistance
AI may assist with topic research, outlines, drafting, summarization, formatting, and SEO metadata. AI output is treated as draft material.
Human review is required before publication. Articles should separate source-based facts from Whempify interpretation and should not invent statistics, testimonials, or customer results.
Review And Publication
- New articles default to draft review mode.
- Drafts should be checked for source quality, duplicate content, unsupported claims, broken links, formatting, and SEO metadata.
- Auto-publishing should remain disabled unless a protected configuration and quality gates are in place.
Corrections And Updates
When an article becomes outdated or contains an error, Whempify should update the content, adjust the last-updated date, and clarify material corrections where appropriate.
Duplicate topics should generally update an existing article instead of creating a second article targeting the same search intent.
Results Disclaimer
Insights content may discuss marketing strategy, market signals, ZIP-level opportunity, advertising platforms, and demand conditions. It is not legal, financial, tax, or professional advice.
Contractors are responsible for reviewing their own advertising, compliance obligations, budgets, claims, licenses, and platform policies before acting.
